This year has been a frustrating year. Injuries have been a real nuisance and consequently motivation has been at an all time low. I am 5 kilos heavier than I need to be and it is all about to change! I managed to complete the Gold Coast 10k run and Noosa Triathlon, but they were both pretty slow.
I have had a dislocated foot that went undiagnosed for 1 year and hip pain that has been around longer than my foot pain. However, the good news is that I seem to be on top of it all now and have just had a good couple of weeks training and everything seems to be holding up well, no foot pain whatsoever and minimal hip pain. So, I am ready to start back with some focus on doing a great Mooloolaba Triathlon.
Jacque G and I have made a pact to get us both to more training sessions which involves penalties for not showing up! Should be interesting to see how we cope. Watch this space!
